This warranty sets out exactly how we handle product issues at Kubbi. Please read the first section carefully — it explains how our service actually works, which is different to most companies.
If you buy a product from Kubbi and something goes wrong, here is exactly what happens:
Step 1 — You contact us. Email our support team at support@kubbi.co.uk with your order number and a short description of the issue.
Step 2 — We diagnose the issue with you remotely. Our team will ask you for clear photos, short videos, or a quick phone call so we can see the fault for ourselves. The more detail you give us upfront, the faster we can help.
Step 3 — We send you the spare parts. Once we have identified the problem, we dispatch the necessary replacement parts directly to you, free of charge under warranty.
Step 4 — We send you a video showing how to fit them. Almost every fault on a Kubbi bike can be fixed at home in minutes with the right part and a clear video walkthrough.
We do not offer a collect-repair-return service. Shipping a full bike both ways would cost hundreds of pounds per claim and would push up prices for every customer. The parts-and-video approach is faster, cheaper, and gets you riding again sooner. In rare cases where remote diagnosis is not possible (for example, a genuine structural frame issue), we will handle the situation case-by-case.
This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.
The warranty period begins on the date of delivery, not the date of purchase. Coverage durations for each component category are listed below.
This warranty applies to products purchased from Kubbi or an authorised Kubbi reseller for use in the United Kingdom.
If you bought your Kubbi product through Amazon or eBay, the same warranty terms apply. Please contact us at support@kubbi.co.uk with your marketplace order number and we will verify your purchase before processing any claim. Refunds for marketplace orders are processed through the marketplace itself — Kubbi handles the parts and replacement side.
Kubbi electric bikes and quads are designed for off-road, private land use under adult supervision. They are not approved for use on public roads, pavements, cycle paths, or any public space where motor vehicles are restricted under UK law.
Use of Kubbi products on the public highway is illegal in the UK, may put riders and others at risk, and will void this warranty.

To keep your warranty valid, please:
Follow the user manual and assembly instructions supplied with your product.
Stay within the maximum rider weight stated on the product page.
Charge only with the supplied Kubbi charger, on a hard non-flammable surface, and never leave a battery charging unattended overnight.
Store the product indoors in dry conditions, ideally between 10°C and 25°C. If storing for more than 30 days, leave the battery at 40–60% charge.
Check tyre pressure, brakes, and key fasteners before each use.
Ensure adult supervision for any rider under 14.
Use appropriate safety equipment — helmet at minimum, ideally also gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads.
If your product arrives faulty or damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@kubbi.co.uk with photographs of the product and the packaging.
DOA items are eligible for full replacement or refund.
Cosmetic damage from transit must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
We aim to respond to your initial warranty enquiry within 2 working days.
We aim to confirm the diagnosis and dispatch any approved replacement parts within 5 working days of receiving the photos, videos, or information we need from you.
Delivery times for parts depend on courier services and your location.
Replacement parts supplied under warranty are covered for the remainder of your original product warranty period, or 90 days from dispatch — whichever is longer.
We reserve the right to repair the fault, supply replacement parts, replace the product, or offer a partial refund or credit of equivalent value — whichever is most appropriate to the situation. If a product is no longer available, we may supply a similar product of equal or greater value.
Our total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
We aim to make spare parts available for a minimum of 3 years from the date a model is discontinued. After this period, we will do our best to source equivalent parts where possible — please contact us with details and photos so we can help.
Lithium batteries are subject to strict transport regulations under UN3481 and IATA. Customers must not post batteries themselves.
If a battery ever needs to be returned to Kubbi as part of a warranty assessment, we will arrange and pay for collection using a courier authorised to carry lithium batteries, and we will supply the correct paperwork. Posting a lithium battery via standard mail is illegal and unsafe.
We encourage all customers to register their Kubbi product after purchase. Registration helps us process warranty claims faster, contact you directly in the event of a product safety recall, and send you important safety updates and maintenance tips.
In the event of a recall, we will contact registered customers directly. Please keep your contact details up to date.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser. We may, at our discretion, allow the warranty to transfer to a subsequent owner (for example, where a bike is passed to a younger sibling, gifted, or sold second-hand) on production of the original proof of purchase. Please contact us before any transfer.
All warranty claims require proof of purchase — your Kubbi order number, receipt, or marketplace order confirmation.
Do not return any product to Kubbi without first contacting us. Returns without prior authorisation may be refused or delayed.
If we confirm a product is faulty and we require it back, we will cover the return shipping cost and arrange the courier.
Kubbi is a registered participant in WEEE and Battery Compliance schemes. At the end of your product's life, contact us for advice on recycling, or take the product to your local Designated Collection Facility.
Never dispose of lithium batteries in household waste.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a warranty claim, please email our customer service manager at support@kubbi.co.uk with the subject line "Escalation" and we will review your case.
UK consumers also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and may seek further advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or, where appropriate, the small claims court.
Any information you share with us during a warranty claim — including photos and videos — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at kubbi.co.uk.
